Jim Wales is a proud resident of Evergreen since 1980, with a deep-rooted connection to the community. After graduating from Evergreen High, he earned a BA in Business Administration, followed by an MBA in 2000. With a 27-year banking career focused on lending, Jim served as the Former Vice President of Evergreen National Bank and later as the Vice President and Market Manager at Bank of Choice Conifer. Beyond banking, Jim is a dedicated community leader. Having chaired the Evergreen Area and Conifer Area Chambers of Commerce and Evergreen Downtown Business Association, he has played a pivotal role in local development. When not immersed in community affairs, Jim enjoys a balanced life with hobbies such as golf, skiing, flyfishing, reading and staying fit through regular workouts. His commitment to Evergreen extends beyond professional success, embodying a genuine passion for community, family and personal well-being. Jim is happily married to Tricia and a proud father to 3 boys.
